The purpose of the Historical Committee shall be to collect, preserve and display items and information relative to the history of the town and maintain the Carthage Museum. This committee of eight members also acts as an advisory body to the Board of Commissioners and is able to conduct fundraisers, work with local non-profits and other entities and individuals as needed to to maintain an archive of artifacts, documents and other items relating to the long history of the Town of Carthage.

Meeting Information

The Historical Committee meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 5:15 p.m. inside the Carthage Museum located at 202 Rockingham Street.
