Recycling

A recycling container is located in the far right corner of the parking lot at Town Hall.  Residents should sort recyclables from household waste and deposit them in this container.  All items must be empty and clean.  Please break down and flatten all cardboard boxes.

#RecycleMoore

To Recycle Moore, We Have to Recycle Right.

Moore County and Local Municipalities, like the Town of Carthage, have joined together to promote a single, simple, county-wide set of recycling guidelines. The #RecycleMoore, #RecycleRight campaign aims to educate local residents on what’s actually recyclable — and what’s contaminating a potentially valuable haul.  Go to the Moore County Solid Waste website to find important information about solid waste and recycling in Moore County.

Carthage residents, there is a large recycling container at the back of the Carthage Town Hall parking lot to assist in the effort to #RecycleMoore. Please remember these important recycling standards before bringing your recyclables to the Town Hall container.
