Strategic Goals Adopted

In August 2022, the Carthage Board of Commissioners held a special strategic planning session following the appointment of Emily D. Yopp to the role of Town Manager. Together, Mrs. Yopp, the town's administrative staff and the Board worked together to identify seven important goals to help guide future decision making.

These goals have been summarized in the attached strategic plan. This plan is a living document that can and should change over time as the Town itself changes. Town Staff will review and update this plan every one to three years as needed.
